Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt is the founder of the Viennese Jugenstil "Wiener Sezession" and was an active contributer to the so called "Wiener Werkstätte", a group of arts and crafts industries. He developed his own extraordinary splendid form of fine art by processing real gold and precious stones in his paintings. He preferred erotic theme's: especially his paintings of women have made him world famous.

Gustav Klimt

Gustav Klimt is de oprichter van de Weense Jugendstil: "Wiener Sezession" en was actief in de zg. "Wiener Werkstätte", een verzameling kunstambachtelijke bedrijfjes. Hij ontwikkelde een geheel eigen en buitengewoon schitterende vorm van schilderkunst door echt goud en edelstenen in zijn schilderijen in te leggen. Hij had een voorkeur voor erotische thema's: vooral zijn schilderijen van vrouwen hebben hem wereldberoemd gemaakt.
